 Born in Buenos Aires, the dancer and choreographer  Maria Marta Colusi joined Sasha Waltz & Guests in 2002 and has danced in a wide variety of projects. For her, improvisation is more than a tool for creating new artistic material; it is a space in which ideas, desires and the unpredictable are in constant dialogue. It is a game with the present – there is no future and no past, only pure being in the moment. For her, music is another body in the space with which she can interact, construct something, be inspired by, resist or snuggle up to.
