"Umbrío" explores how collective action serves as a catalyst, enabling individuals to transcend their singular identities and enter a shared space of interconnectedness and mutual influence. This space, forged by the collective, represents a convergence of vulnerability and strength, challenging traditional notions of individualism and resistance.

The presence of four women of varying ages on stage is not coincidental; it is a deliberate and integral element of the narrative. Their movements embody a distinct feminine resilience, navigating the tension between vulnerability and power, autonomy and interdependence. In a world that often overlooks or diminishes the female perspective, "Umbrío" elevates it, offering a profound commentary on how women, through collective practices and mutual support, resist, adapt, and thrive.

The piece invites the audience to witness and experience the intricate interplay of sound, visual elements, and movement, reflecting the collective strength and resilience women cultivate as individuals and as a group in the face of global challenges. This interplay on stage serves as a powerful metaphor for the ways in which female resilience manifests through solidarity, trust, and a shared journey of survival and transformation.

The piece invites the audience to experience a play between sound, visuals and dance.

„...the only way I know to deal with the difficult times we live in is generative joy and collective thinking.“

Donna Haraway (biologist and historian of science)
